Penatalaksanaan Fisioterapi dengan Mckenzie Exercise dan Core Stability Exercise Pada Kondisi Hernia Nukleus Pulposus (HNP) Lumbal: Case Report

Hernia Nukleus Pulposus merupakan terjadinya robekan pada annulus fibrosus diskus intervetebralis, dan nucleus pulposus keluar melalui robekan annulus fibrosus, sehingganya terjadi penekanan akar saraf tulang belakang. Robeknya annulus fibrosus menyebabkan kompresi akar saraf ini menyebabkan nyeri pada punggung bawah. Pasien dengan keluhan LBP yang disebabkan oleh HNP lumbal degeneratif sering melaporkan keluhan nyeri pada punggung bawah hingga ekstremitas bawah, gangguan dalam kemampuan berdiri dan berjalan dengan durasi lama, tidak hanya menyebabkan nyeri pada punggung bawah tetapi juga terjadi kelemahan otot pada lumbal dan ketidakseimbangan otot. Salah satu metode mengatasi HNP lumbal yaitu McKenzie exercise dan Core Stability exercise. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efek pemberian McKenzie exercise dan Core Stability exercise pada pasien HNP Lumbal. Setelah dilakukan pemberian Latihan mckenzie dan Latihan core stability selama 3 kali seminggu didapatkan penurunan tingkat nyeri, terutama pada nyeri gerak dengan T1: 6, T2: 5, T3: 4 dan peningkatan lingkup gerak sendi pada trunk. Berdasarkan hasil studi yang telah dilakukan Latihan mckenzie dan Latihan core stability selama 3 sesi pertemuan pada pasien HNP Lumbal terdapat penurunan tingkat nyeri dan terdapat peningkatan lingkup gerak sendi pada trunk atau lumbal. Pada penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan terdapat penelitian yang berjangka waktu cukup lama sehingga dapat mengetahui efektivitas McKenzie exercise dan core stability exercise pada peningkatan kekuatan otot trunk.
